We had previously not used the services of a recruitment agency; we’d always found it difficult to comprehend the value this would add to our organisation. We had advertised in the local press and magazines previously and had always been met with a mixed response. However, we were embarking on a brand-new project in a difficult to recruit area where we did not have local links; this presented a tricky situation for us. After speaking with Prospect Health, we explained our specific requirements; we needed someone with Management qualifications, combined with RMN status. On top of this, they needed to have worked in a large home and be local to the area.

Prospect Health went through a detailed registration process; taking the time to understand our exact requirements and needs. Due to the fact that our head office was not based in the location and that there would only be small windows of opportunity in which to conduct the interview process; it was imperative that we only received the right candidates. Prospect Health guided us through the entire process, they correlated diaries between us and the candidates and arranged interviews at mutually convenient times. We received a short list of 6 candidates; meaning that we had choice and would feel validated in the decision we made.

The process culminated in us offering the position to a local Manager that matched our exact requirements; a candidate possessing their RMA and dual RGN/RMN qualifications. Furthermore, they had experience of working in a large home and good local contacts. After securing the best candidate for the role, Prospect Health made sure that they were staying in touch in order to make sure that we were looked after post-placement; providing us with on-boarding material in order to get our new Manager off to the best possible start. We feel the fee paid for our Manager is a great investment for the company and would certainly recommend Prospect Health’s services to others.
