THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a successful 30-bed residential care home with complete autonomy in beautiful Northumberland.

The home provides long and short term care and accommodation for residents in a high quality, comfortable environment. All bedrooms are single occupancy with ensuite facilities. They are bright and spacious and many overlook the landscaped garden, which some have direct access to.

The home has a Good CQC rating and a great reputation and is fully occupied.

The home is part of a small, independent group. Reporting directly to the owner, you will be entrusted with a high level of decision-making responsibility and afforded an opportunity to put your own stamp on the home and really make a mark.

Your job, in a nutshell, will be to make a great home even better.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Our client is looking for a very high calibre registered manager, who is capable of running the home with a considerable degree of autonomy.

The average registered manager salary (nationwide) for this type and size of home is £35K. The £45-50K basic salary on offer here (plus bonus of a further c. £6K) is an indication of the kind of person we're looking for, which is basically a top class manager with a track record of running a home well, achieving consistently good results and good CQC ratings.
