We are currently recruiting for a successful town house practice opticians. There is also Dental and Physiotherapy treatments within the building promoting a highly clinical, medical centre approach, to the optometry assessments offered.

This is a truly unique opportunity to work within a practice that offers patients a plethora of specialist assessments and gives you as the Optometrist a extremely varied clinic.


  • The practice guarantee patients an outstanding personalised clinical experience and service delivered within a very laidback, friendly independent environment

Working hours

  • 8:00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 1:00pm on Saturdays
  • Closed Sundays and Bank Holidays

Position available

  • Part time, 2.5 days a week

The practice

  • 2 consulting rooms
  • 3 Optometrists and a range of experienced Dispensing Opticians and Optical Assistants
  • State of the art technology and computerised patient management systems

  • Dry Eye clinks
  • Low vision clinics
  • AMD clinics
  • Diabetic screening
  • High and Complex prescription lenses
  • Specialist paediatric clinics
  • The Director is a fully qualified Optometrist who encourages all Optometrists to enrol on to independent prescribing courses
  • The owner has close relationships with Optegra and runs CET courses within the private hospital once sometimes twice a year
  • The practice is a town House building with a very modern, open planned design throughout
  • There is also a Dental and Physiotherapy business within the building, allowing a unique opportunity for patients to use the building as a centre to support more than one of their medical needs
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, 28 in total
  • A highly supportive, experienced team will always be at your disposable allowing you to better concentrate on the needs of your patients
