Sales Business Manager (Senior Sales) Orthopaedic West Midlands/S.Wales

We are currently recruiting to a senior sales position as a Sales Business Manager within the Orthopaedic sector. The role is working with a global orthopaedic brand that has outstanding product ranges and is recognised as a market leading device specialist. The client employs over 35, 000 professionals globally and can offer sales professionals outstanding career progression, development and training.

The successful candidate will be required to negotiate significant level business deals with existing clients and new potential hospital contracts. Working at senior management level, board of directors and procurement.

This role will be responsible for the West Midlands & South Wales.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years surgical sales experience and have been responsible for managing significant level of business in the NHS and Private Hospital Sector.

Key Information

  • Managing existing contract negotiation and new business strategy
  • Working operationally within the team to deliver continued growth and success
  • Strategic development of the entire region - working in unison with internal and external partners
  • Partial mentoring of junior team members
  • Act as a market thought leader to drive brand awareness and engagement
  • Develop relationships with leading surgeons, key management figures and procurement

Package

  • £45-£55k Basic Depending on experience
  • £39k - On target Bonus with over achieve available
  • Executive level car or Car allowance of £700 PCM
  • Pension, training, medical

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Ideally the successful candidate will have theatre sales experience in orthopaedics, candidates with surgical hospital sales experience of 3 years + will also be considered
  • You will be able to boast a proven track record of sales excellence and growth delivery
  • Must be degree educated ideally in a Science, Sport or Anatomy related field
  • Candidates must be dynamic, proactive, driven, ethical, highly organised and a strong communicator
