Pharmacist Role, Shoeburyness

This Pharmacy group is a three-branch, family-run NHS community pharmacy based in Shoeburyness, Essex, who are looking for a Pharmacist.

We operate three pharmacies across the Shoeburyness area with each site offering different NHS pharmaceutical and healthcare services which are consistently aligned to meet our patients changing needs.

This position offers a unique opportunity for a pharmacist to develop and polish their professional and business skills while having a pivotal role in the delivery of pharmacy services to a local community.

Key Duties

The role will involve working at all three of our branches, one of which operates with a robotic dispenser following a hub-and-spoke model. As well as helping manage the clinical aspects of the service, a successful candidate will over time gain superior insight and knowledge of the mechanisms that drive a pharmacies success. The successful candidate will be given a base pharmacy after a probational period. One of the branches operate a private travel/occupational health vaccination clinic and Hypertention Case-Finding Service. Many of the essential services are streamlined to share the workload and utilise the workforce.
Whilst at work, you will ensure an upstanding service is delivered at all times, with a dynamic and bold mind-set. Behind the scenes, you will be working in collaboration with our team using your own intuition, expertise and experience to deliver first class pharmacy services for our customers and patients. It goes without saying that you will be accountable for professional pharmacy legal & ethical decisions and will aid in developing the potential of our pharmacy teams through the education & training of colleagues.

Package and Benefits

  • Will pay GPhC membership fee.
  • Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
  • Salary: £45,500.00 to £56,000.00 /year
  • Dispensing programme: Proscript Connect/PharmOutcomes
  • Vaccination Trained: Preferred (but will pay for training)

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to be a UK qualified pharmacist and demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and commercial astuteness. A candidate demonstrating digital proficiency and the ability to navigate and embrace new technology is preferable.
