Mixed Animal Vet Job - Independent Practice, Ross-on-Wye


A brilliant opportunity in Ross-on-Wye for a full time Mixed Vet to join a forward thinking, extremely well-equipped, friendly surgery. Very well-funded salaries and overall packages are available for the right Vet joining the team!

Our client is a very well-established, progressive and modern Veterinary practice based in Ross-on-Wye. We are keen to find an enthusiastic Mixed Vet looking for a full-time position. With a split 70:30 a bias towards small animal would be beneficial but not essential.

You will be working alongside 10 other FTE vets in this position meaning you will have full support from their experienced team. They discuss complex cases together and truly enjoy working as a team. Additional to this, you will have further support from 7 RVN's on site, 2 SVN's and a management team.

The practice is a large, spacious and bright environment with 4 consulting rooms, 2 theatres, large prep area and in-house lab. You will be able to enjoy working with updated equipment including lap spay, rigid endoscope, ultrasound, digital x-ray, blood machines, analysers, laser tools, hydro, physio and extremely high spec dental equipment.

Key Duties

This position is a full-time role with an element of flexibility.

The rotas are designed and balanced giving you a true work-life balance you would struggle to match in other clinics. Expect to be working a 4-day working week with a regular day off each week. Typical hours are between 9.00am-5.00pm. There would be elements of OOH and on-call with weekends shared between the Vets (With support when required) and one night per week on call.

Package and Benefits

For your hard work in the practice, you will be rewarded with an above average salary package for the region. You can expect salary to be discussed during interview with a range between £37,000-£50,000 per annum. Additional to a great salary, you will be rewarded with additional perks as part of the package. You can expect CPD funding for higher budget courses including certificates.
