A brand new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Veterinary Nurse to join a new Independent Veterinary Practice in Hertfordshire on a salary of up to £31,000 a year.

The position would see you working within modern, spacious and fantastic facilities within an Independently run practice. This beautiful barn conversion offers extensive range of consultation, surgical and hospitalisation facilities to include:

• Ultrasound
• Digital X-ray
• 3 Consultation rooms
• Separate and spacious wards
• Full laboratory.
• Established for only 3 years this practice has really taken off, offering excellent facilities, a friendly team and gold standard level of care.

Rota:

• No OOH
• 5 days a week, 7.5 hrs shift
• 1-in-2 Saturdays, 9am to 12.30pm
• A week on earlies, then a week on lates rota

Key Duties

• The role is full time, 40 hours per week
• No out of hours
• Saturdays on a rotational basis 9-12pm only.
• Anaesthesia
• Stock control
• Dentistry
• In patient care
• Nurse consultations
• Theatre
• Laboratory

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Must be eligible to work within the UK
• Be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
• Minimum experience: 3 years + (2 years considered if good sole charge experience)
