Registered Veterinary Nurse

Outstanding opportunity to be a part of one of the leading multi-disciplinary referral-only hospitals in the UK with over 60 Veterinary Nurses and 31 recognised Specialists in surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, oncology, neurology, cardiology, diagnostic imaging and anaesthesia.

As their services continue to expand, they have exciting opportunities available for RVN's. Career progression and opportunities available with an excellent supportive and encouraging management team.

No previous referral experience required a 3-month induction is provided.

The Role itself:

  • On the lookout for 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses
  • Shifts run between 7:30am - 8:30pm Monday to Friday, with weekend duties once every 6 weeks
  • Team of Night Nurses so no regular night shifts

The shifts would see you rotating between the different departments including Wards, medicine, feline high dependency, neurology, surgery, theatre and diagnostic.

The position will see you working within state-of-the-art facilities alongside a close and friendly team of over 60 Veterinary Nurses, always complimented about how close they are and how well they work together (like a family) despite the large team size. Nurses with multiple certificates, advanced diplomas and masters, all home grown.

Further plans of new developments to introduce team leaders in the future, recruiting internally for these.

Excellent consultation, surgical and hospitalisation facilities including:

  • CT
  • MRI
  • Endoscope
  • Digital Xray
  • Ultrasound
  • Separate state-of-the-art purpose-built wards
  • And much much more.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • Eligible to work within the UK
  • Be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
  • Be a driven and dedicated individual able to work well as part of a team
