Part-Time Clinical IP Pharmacist Role, London


Part-Time Clinical Independent Prescriber Pharmacist wanted for a family orientated GP Surgery in the Royal Docks area of London E16, close to London City Airport, the ExCel Centre and Custom House DLR Station.

Clinical pharmacists in GP surgeries will resolve day-to-day medicine issues, consult with, and treat patients directly. This includes providing help to manage long-term conditions, advising those taking multiple medicines and delivering clinical advice about treatments. They will also assist with communication across a patient's care pathway, manage medicines shortages by suggesting suitable alternatives where appropriate, and mentor newer pharmacists.

Key Duties

  • Resolve medical issues
  • Assist GP's and members of the Health Care team with signing off prescriptions and clinically checking dosages etc
  • Advising patients in relation to their long-term medication
