Pharmacy Manager Role, Croydon


A Pharmacist in Croydon is looking for a Pharmacy Manager to start as soon as possible. This role would be perfect for a Newly Qualified Pharmacist who is looking for an opportunity for comfortable workload and to implement growth.

Independent Community Pharmacy.

You will be supported by an experienced, highly trained and qualified team of professionals, which include 2 full time dispensers and 2 full time over the counter staff
Dispensing on average 7,000 items per month with room to grow.

  • Oversees the operations of the pharmacy department
  • Make sure that customers are prescribed the correct medicine
  • Ensure the pharmacy complies with federal and state regulations
  • Communicate effectively with customers relating to queries and issues
  • Ensure staff provide high standards of customer service to customers
  • Assist in the on boarding process of new hires
  • Train staff in prioritizing customer orders and delivering them efficiently
  • Instruct staff to interact professionally and courteously to customers at all time

Key Duties

  • Manage dispensary operations and clinical services effectively
  • Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and effectively in a timely manner
  • Counsel and advice customers on the effective and safe use of medicines
  • Ensure effective implementation of the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework
  • Conduct Medicines Use Review and New Medicines Service
  • Communicate effectively with customers, pharmacy team, health, and social care professionals

Package and Benefits

  • £45,000+ annual salary open to negotiation
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Work autonomously
  • Option to work just Monday to Friday

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • Qualified Pharmacist
  • Wanting to grow script volume
  • Hardworking
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council of Great Britain.
