The Role

  • Position: Veterinary Nurse (Small Animal)
  • Employment Type: Full-time (37.5 to 40 hours per week), Part-time considered, with the option for a 3-day work week
  • Rota: 1 in 6 Saturdays (Half day) with TOIL (Time Off in Lieu), no out-of-hours requirement
  • Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 depending on experience, with additional bonuses based on practice profitability
  • Holiday: 28 days (including public holidays)
  • Additional Benefits: £300 CPD allowance, 5% employee pension contribution after 5 years


About the Practice

This independent, first-opinion small animal practice is known for its strong focus on providing top-tier veterinary care. The team consists of 1 full-time vet, 3 long-term locum vets, 1 full-time nurse, 4 auxiliary nurses, and 1 locum nurse. The practice offers a balanced workload between surgeries and consultations, providing excellent opportunities for professional growth
