4 Day Week Veterinary Nurse Role, Oxford

A long-established Oxford Vet Practice are seeking a Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a full-time basis!
This role will offer a 4 day week and only a 1:4 in practice Saturday shift so is great for work life balance! The role will require some on call but you will only be called out by the vet if absolutely necessary. The role will see you working across the entirety of the busy, small animal general practice.
The practice houses great kit, and is steadily getting renovations completed. They're currently working towards gaining ISFM accreditation too and have just had a brand new, gold standard cattery installed.
Their current team are a small, yet lovely, cooperative bunch made up of a team of receptionists, 2 directors, 4 vets, 4 RVNs, a student and a VCA. Nurses are encouraged to assist in the training of the student but don't worry, this post doesn't require you to be a clinical coach as they have one in place. Though, if you are, that's great!

Key Duties
This will very much be an all round, general practice RVN position with a lovely, cohesive team of professionals in a small, yet busy vets!

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
To be successful in this position you will;

  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Ideally have a couple of years post-graduate RVN experience, though we will accept new graduate applications
  • Be a friendly, approachable person who is able to slot in to a 4 vet, 4 RVN practice
  • Have great communication skills, both written and spoken
