An exciting new role is now open for you working as a Practice Nurse in a successful, patient-centred GP surgery in Oxford. The practice has been established for many years and has an excellent local reputation for delivering quality patient care. The practice is very well organised with a friendly and stable team to ensure you work in a sustainable and supportive environment. Working in this role will enable you to work alongside a great team, of Nurses, ANPs and GPs. Please read on for further details.
Key Duties
- 28-32 hrs per week available
- GP practice with excellent support for professional development
- Very well organised practice
- Friendly and cohesive team of GPs
- Excellent clinical support team including, Nurses and ANPs
- Central focus in the role is Nurse led treatment for patients with chronic conditions
- Key clinical skills required cover - cervical cytology, immunisation and vaccination, travel health, acute and chronic wound management
- EMIS Web practice software

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
- Registered Nurse with the NMC,
- Possess the right to work in the UK
- Min. 2 years of recent primary care working experience
- Ideally holding an independent and/or supplementary nurse prescribing qualification
