Part-time Pharmacist Job, Wrexham

A busy independent pharmacy based in Wrexham are looking for a part-time pharmacist to support the existing team at busy times of the week.

This is a busy independent pharmacy with a real family feel to it and one of the best things about this role is that you will have an opportunity to get involved with providing and developing/expanding a wide range of clinical services (including the common ailments scheme) and be supported to undertake a range of further training and development (including training as an independent prescriber).

We're looking for someone to work an average of 2.5, 3.0 or 3.5 days per week. Mondays and Wednesdays are essential, plus either every Saturday morning or every other Saturday morning. Thursdays are optionally available too, so the working week can be anything from 22 to 34 hours (with more hours potentially available in future).

You will be working alongside other pharmacists (including the owner) and there are no managerial responsibilities attached to the role.

The pharmacy itself is undergoing a wide-ranging improvement programme and is very technology enabled, so will provide a great platform for a committed pharmacist to develop themselves professionally, whilst helping to develop the pharmacy long-term.

We're ideally looking for someone with at least a couple of years post-qualifying experience and we'll also consider much more experienced pharmacists.

The key thing we're looking for is someone who is energetic and committed, who wants to develop a pharmacy and themselves and will really invest something of themselves into helping the owner with the long-term development of the pharmacy.

This is an employed role and the remuneration is likely to be in the region of £20-24/hour dependent entirely on experience.
