Registered Veterinary Nurse Job, Glasgow

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a Gold Standard, RCVS accredited, Small Animal Hospital for a very competitive salary in Glasgow.
We are looking for a Small Animal RVN with over two years experience in the Veterinary world, who is looking to not only grow their career but gain valuable experience and expand their skill set.
The diligent team is comprised with 15 very hard working, certificate holding Surgeons and 11 dedicated, resilient Nurses. Additional support is provided through their own reception, assistant and night team. Together, they all work in coherence to deliver outstanding patient care and attention to enforce the hospitals true values.
This modern, gold-standard hospital has been developed with the latest surgical services including; Oncology, Cardiology and Key-Hold Surgery. In addition to these services, the hospital is also equipped with some of the latest Veterinary equipment including; CT and MRI Scanners, Digital and Dental X-Rays, plus many more.

The Rota:

  • Rotational role covering all areas of the Hospital
  • 5 Days a week
  • 7 and a half hour days
  • Shifts can start and finish any time between 07:00 and 21:00
  • 1:4 Weekends

Key Duties
Your role in the hospital will be mainly rotational, meaning you'll be given the opportunity in working in all areas of the Hospital, adapting and evolving your knowledge, experiencing all nursing sectors including the ICU, Operating Theatres, Nurse Consultations, Wards and Labs, plus many more.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • Must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse
  • Must have at least two years as an RVN
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
