Remote Tender and Pricing Manager Role, Denmark

On behalf of our client, a very well established and highly regarded medical device manufacturer, I'm looking for a Tender and Pricing Manager to cover The Nordics.

The Tender & Pricing Manager is responsible for managing tenders in the Nordic countries and/or designated regions and prepares high quality proposals on time ensuring each is competitive, compliant and meets the company targets for growth and profitability. The Tender & Pricing Manager also has an overview of upcoming tenders and new opportunities. The Tender & Pricing Manager will be an integral part of the future of the client's EMEA business with a mission to improve the lives of patients and caregivers through innovation, manufacturing and delivery of best-in-class medical devices and superior service.

Key Duties

  • Handle tender process in the Nordic countries and to provide high quality proposals on time ensuring each is competitive and compliant.
  • Accountable for the mining, preparation, implementation and enacting of tenders in the Nordic countries.
  • Participate in the success of the company through the ongoing meeting of targets and maximizing profitability.
  • Responsible for the creation of pre-bid documentation and presentations for existing and potential customers including alignment of non-standard terms with relevant partners.
  • Systematically and efficiently handling contracts (creation, logistics tracking and archiving) and ensuring increasing commercial and operational performance, as well as minimizing legal and business risks.
  • Understanding the content of contracts and driving related actions (e.g. fulfillment, invoicing) across all channels and ensure accuracy of calculations and payments within contractual terms and conditions.
  • Supporting in contract compliance audit.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely price & contract data management.
  • Responsible for pricing review activities with management and with the sales department to determine pricing and strategy for customer frame agreements as well as proactively work to reduce any waste in order-to cash process related to price data management.

  • Process management skills.
  • Advanced degree within Business, Law or Economics.
  • Fluent English plus an additional Nordic language is required.
  • Proven and successful track record in administration field.
  • Experience in the implementation of bids and tenders and/or contract management.
  • Advanced level of MS Excel.
