A community pharmacy branch is seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacist to join their welcoming and supportive team in Rotherham.

Situated in the heart of a village in Barnsley, this branch is amid a row of shops on a main road. There is a large, unique shop floor that provides the opportunity for over the counter and add-on sales, and the engaged, long-standing team have built up excellent customer relationships.

Currently dispensing around 7,000 items per month, giving the Pharmacist an opportunity to take on a challenge and raise this number.

Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30, Saturday 09:00 - 17:00

Key Duties

• Maintaining a professional and welcoming approach to all aspects of the role
• To check prescription medicines to patients, checking the form, strength, dosage and ensuring that medicines are correctly and safely labelled and supplied
• As well as providing excellent customer care, we support the needs and expectations of our patients through the various local, enhanced, and essential NHS services. These include NMS, DMS, CPCS and FLU as well as private services including ear care, acne, pneumococcal vaccinations, alcohol reduction and weight loss programme.
• Build strong working relationships with colleagues and health care professionals
