Nurse Practitioner Job, Ipswich

Fantastic new opportunity in Ipswich for a Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Nurse Practitioner, to join a growing and innovative practice. This is a full time role (37.5 hours) however part time applicants are also welcomed to apply.

The practice has recently undergone some exciting changes, and will be entering a new, purpose built premises next year. The current set up is in a small number of sites which are all within close proximity of one another, and are all complete with modern facilities.
They are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to assist with minor injuries and illnesses in a primary care setting. Ideally you will be a primary-care experienced Nurse Practitioner or ANP, complete with your prescribing qualification. This is a very well established training practice though, and initial support can be provided with the right relevant experience.
You will be working across two sites which are both accessible from surrounding areas, complete with parking on site. The system used is System One however training can be provided if your experience is within EMIS/Docman etc.
You will be working autonomously in the practice, to see, treat and refer patients presenting with minor ailments as appropriate. This will be primarily as a part of the 'On The Day' team so the majority of your work will be within acute presentations. There will also be an element of working in the non-urgent/routine clinics. You will be fully supported by a skilled clinical team which is GP Partner led. A small number of home visits may be required.

Package and Benefits

  • 37.5 hours available (permanent job)
  • Salary is dependent on experience, £45,000 - £50,000 per annum full time
