I am recruiting for an excellent Small Animal, Multi-vet and purpose built practice based in Birmingham. The practice is located conveniently towards the West side of Birmingham approx 5 miles from the city centre!

The position is based within a newly refurbished purpose built practice meaning you can enjoy working with all the up-to-date toys including: Digital x-ray (both general and Dental equipment), Ultrasound, In-house Lab, Blood Pressure monitoring and much more!

You will be joining a very supportive team with a certificate holder in Small Animal Surgery. They have a great team of 6 Vets with a range of experience from 20 years to newly graduated. You will be supported by a great registered nursing team and a practice management team!

If you're looking to take the next steps in your career there is an option to look into a Senior/Clinical Lead role with this position. They have structures in place to allow further qualifications and training with a possible partnership option available in the longer term!

Key Duties

• We're ideally seeking an experienced Veterinary surgeon with excellent client skills, approachable mannerisms and a willingness to develop your own skills with support from the current team and foundations in place!
• You can enjoy a nice work-life balance of ideally 40 hours per week. (Part-time applications are considered.) With no additional OOH or on-call work required at all. You will take part in the weekend rota of 1:3 Saturdays only which is a half day.
  

Package and Benefits

• For the full-time position the practice will pay a very competitive salary around £50,000 per annum dependent on your skills and any further qualifications etc.
• You will also have all registration fees paid with additional memberships included. CPD is fully funded and encouraged to certificate level. Additional perks are included as part of the overall package!
