Registered Veterinary Nurse Role, North London

As a Veterinary Nurse you will be encouraged to bring your ideas to life to better enhance your experience and fully utilise your nursing qualification.

Exceptional consultation, surgical and hospitalisation facilities across the practice including:

  • On-site cat hotel
  • Air conditioned and underfloor heating throughout
  • Separate wards
  • Digital X-ray
  • Separate theatre suite
  • State of the art dental suite
  • Multi-parameter monitoring equipment
  • Endoscopes, brochoscopes and ultrasound equipment.

Further facilities enable them to offer referral services for cardiology, ultrasonography, orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery.

This opportunity would see you working alongside a friendly and supportive team of 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 3 Veterinary Nurses, 3 Student Nurses and 3 Animal Care Assistants.


Key Duties

  • This position is full time and would see you working 40 hour per week Monday - Friday.
  • 1:3 Saturdays 9 - 6pm with time back in lieu
  • No out of hours.

Duties include:

  • Schedule 3 Nursing
  • Nursing Clinics - opportunity to develop these further
  • Anaesthesia
  • Surgical Nursing
  • In patient care
  • Laboratory


Package and Benefits

  • Exceptional salaries up to £30,000 dependent on relevant experience
  • £500 CPD allowance per annum
  • RCVS registration paid per annum
  • 20 days annual lave plus 8 standard UK bank holidays.


Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work within the UK
  • Be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
  • Must enjoy client and patient interaction and have a desire to help people.
