Locum Vet - Maternity Cover Job - near Chippenham

Prospect Health are looking to recruit a Locum Veterinary Surgeon for an excellent Independent Practice based near Chippenham in Wiltshire.

The practice has new purpose-built air-conditioned facilities including 2 sterile operating theatres, Imaging suite and dental theatre with dental x-ray, separate cat and dog isolation wards, providing a great working environment.

Job Summary

• Full and Part Time Applications Welcome
• Maternity Cover Position
• 100% Small Animal
• The practice provides their own out of hours service, the rota currently involves covering 1:5 weekends,
• 1:5 Saturdays and usually 1 weekday night, although this may change with additional staff members adding to the rota.
• 1 or 2 days shifts 8.30am to 5pm
• 1 or 2 days shifts 8.30am to 6pm
• 1 half day pw 8.30am to 1pm (with an additional Friday half day following a weekend on call)
• 1 on-call day 8.30am to 6.30pm (the nurse on duty takes the on-call phone)

Day Rate

• £350 - £400 per day

Length of Booking

• 9-12 months

Days Required

• 3-5 days per week
