Territory Business Manager - Reconstructive Surgery / Aesthetics - Ireland

Are you a successful medical sales rep currently selling into Surgical / theatre setting with experience of working in surgical sales? Or it could be you are an experienced aesthetics clinician looking to transition into commercial medical sales? If this sounds familiar this could be a great opportunity for you!

The role sells across specialist areas related to Plastics, Aesthetics and Reconstructive breast surgery following a masectomy procedure. You will be working with highly respected product ranges, both within the NHS and private hospital setting.

Our client is a specialist medical device company that has experienced consistent growth over the past 10 years and is looking to expand their business footprint in Ireland - Building on their UK experience. This is your opportunity to lead this family focussed growing business in a new region and build on their exciting journey to date!

In this role you will be launching the product in the Irish market, building on the multi million pound footprint in the UK.

Candidates looking to be considered, must have 18 months experience of working in surgical aesthetic sales.


Job Summary
Key Information

  • You will take complete ownership of Ireland as a territory and establish & deliver a growth strategy to establish long standing clients in this specialist sector.
  • Train product knowledge and support surgical cases, expanding on client base
  • Provide a professional and intuitive sales experience for all clients
  • Carry out the complete sales cycle, interacting with all professional partners both internally and externally
  • You will receive full training and be supported by fellow sales professionals, management and internal sources

Key Duties

  • The key responsibilities of a Territory Business Manager include, but are not limited to:
  • Prospecting for new clients, promoting and advising on General, plastic and reconstructive products
  • Maintaining existing business relationships and building new ones, including making face to face client visits as required
  • Providing product demonstrations and presentations
  • Providing direct product support in the operating theatre
  • Providing professional and effective sales coverage
  • Increasing awareness of semi resorbable hernia products
  • Maintaining an efficient customer record system and update as necessary.
  • Providing sales support as required at exhibitions, educational events, and seminars.


Package and Benefits

  • €50,000 to €60,000 basic (Depending on experience)
  • Uncapped commission - Annual forecast €20-€40k once established
  • 25 days of annual holiday

  • Company car or allowance 650 pcm, laptop, mobile phone


Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • MINIMUM 2 YEARS SURGICAL AESTHETICS EXPERIENCE / direct aesthetics clincial experience
  • Being educated to degree level with a scientific focus is mandatory; a previous role in healthcare or healthcare sales is advantageous however not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and at all levels of the business.
  • An organised, articulate and dedicated individual that has the drive and desire to succeed.
  • A full clean driving license
