Mobile Veterinary Surgeon Role, Sheffield

Calling all people person vets who love having a natter with their clients while providing friendly and compassionate care to their patients and their owners. Exciting stress-free, consult-only mobile vet position.

Are you tired of been stuck in a consult room all day? Do you want to get out and about in the community, while doing what you do best, providing care and support to pets and their owners? Well here at Prospect Health, we are proud to be working with a leading mobile veterinary provider in the South Yorkshire area who is looking to grow their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who loves the people side of being a vet. You will be travelling from one appointment to another in a professionally converted van with the assistance of a qualified RVN or assistant at all times. You will have exceptional levels of flexibility to work the day how you want, meaning if you need to pick the kids up from school, get home to walk the dog, or any other commitments you might have, this is perfect for you.

No two days will be the same in this role as you'll be meeting people from all walks of life in different environments every day. The role is consult only, however our client has partnered with an excellent group of practices in the area, so any cases that need escalating are swiftly passed on. The salary on offer for this role is up to £45k. However, what you get in return is a far more relaxed and less stressful job than any practice-based 1st opinion role. For starters, your consults are as long as you feel necessary, and you'll have time between appointments where you're on the road to clear your head (or if it's your turn to be passenger, to catch up on some admin).

Despite being out on the road, you'll have a friendly bunch of colleagues that you'll see each morning at base where the vehicles are kept. The vet/nurse paring changes from day to day too so that the whole team remain close-knit, and you'll always have someone on the end of the phone if you need a second opinion.

If this role appeals to you, and you want a step back from the stressful practice environment, simply apply below or contact us for more information.
