A fantastic opportunity to join a well-established night team in Halesowen has become available. With a rota of 7-in, 14-off, the role offers phenomenal work/life balance, which is supported by a salary of up to £60k FTE.
A respected West Midlands practice is looking for a new night vet to join their well-established team. The successful candidate will join a long-standing team that consists of 3 veterinary nurses as well as auxiliary support staff.
The practice is dedicated to providing the best care in the area, which it does by offering services with state-of-the-art equipment such as CT, Endoscopy and Ultrasound. Close enough to Birmingham city centre, the practice is a stones throw away from wonderful countryside drives or a high-street experience like no other.
The rota consists of 7 night shifts in a row, followed by 14 days off to allow wind-down time and the ultimate work/life balance. For those who have an unwavering want for extra hours, there are options to take on day shifts during the 14 days off as well!
All of this is supported by a fantastic salary of £60,000 FTE, above average CPD allowance and holiday allowance. The package also provides an array of other benefits, such as extended parental leave, company leadership and development courses and birthday leave.
Key Duties
- Provide a high-level of patient care
- 7 nights of Monday-Sunday shifts, followed by 14 days off
- Opportunity to pick up day shifts on days off
- Whilst technically sole-charge, the practice has excellent working relationships with local out-of-hours practices and they are on-hand for advice
Package and Benefits

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
- RCVS Registered
- Competent with ECC work
- No previous night-work experience needed
- Excellent communication skills
