An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse with an Anaesthesia interest to join this Gold Standard Multidisciplinary Veterinary Referral Practice in the beautiful location of North West London.

This role is an excellent opportunity for those who are keen to use their nursing skills to the full and develop further in a supportive environment.

This opportunity offers exposure referral practice with Specialists-led referral services including; Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Surgery (including laparoscopy), Oncology, Dermatology, Diagnostic Imaging and Anaesthesia.

The practice is extremely progressive and forward thinking. They have a mix of First Opinion, 24 hour Hospital and Referral Practices. Extremely committed to providing exceptional level of support through professional development, shared values of Leadership and integrity, learning and innovation.

Their consultation, surgical and hospitalisation facilities are second to none, offering facilities such as:

• Blood bank, availability of canine plasma
• Advanced intensive care ventilation
• Cage side continuous oxygen therapy

• Ultrasound

The role:
This is a full time position consisting of a 42 hour week Monday - Friday.
No weekends and no out of hours offering a fantastic work life balance

Key Duties

• Key duties as an Anaesthesia focussed Registered Veterinary Nurse would see you working across the full referral practice however being mainly anaesthesia and surgery focussed.
• In patient care
• Anaesthesia
• Surgical Nursing
• Diagnostic imaging

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Be eligible to work within the UK
• Be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
• 1 year post registration experience required
• Anaesthesia interest, certificate and experience desirable
