Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon Role, Herefordshire/Worcs Border

We are seeking an experienced Surgeon to join a progressive, modern practice based in Herefordshire. You can enjoy working alongside an experienced and settled team with very low staff turnover rates.

As the new Vet joining you will be working alongside 2.5 other Vets in the practice. You will be supported by 6 RVN's, 1 SVN and an ACA. The practice is very organised and structured with a great reception/admin team as well as a Practice Manager.

The practice provides a modern and spacious environment. It is extremely well-equipped with Ultrasound, brand new dental machine, digital x-ray and dental x-ray, ECG, multiparameter monitoring equipment including capnograph etc. Vets will have a dedicated operating day and can enjoy working to 15 minutes consultations.

Key Duties

Ideally we are looking to fill a gap around 35.5 hours per week with sociable hours. The working week is 4 days per week with a set fixed day off. Other patterns may be considered for the right candidate joining. You can enjoy your weekends with just a 1:4 weekend requirement of Saturday morning only. There is no OOH or on-call work with this role.

The practice offers a great CPD allowance of £1750 + 5 days study leave to utilise this. Further study including higher budget courses are available on a case-by-case basis.
