We are recruiting for a purpose built, Small Animal Veterinary practice based in Herefordshire seeking a motivated Vet to join their 3.5 Vet team, offering an excellent work-life balance!

Ideally, we are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join this multi-Vet, purpose-built practice in Herefordshire. We are looking for a motivated Surgeon confident with general routine small animal surgery. If you have any particular interest areas these will be encouraged and funded with CPD/certificate courses available!

You can enjoy working within a 3.5 Vet team with lots of support available. Offering lots of clinical freedom, the Vets enjoy discussing complex cases together. You will be supported by 6 RVNS, 1 SVN and 1VCA. The practice also has a practice management and clerical support team in place.

The practice is well-equipped with all the toys you can expect including digital x-ray and ultrasound. Its a spacious practice with multiple consultation rooms, prep area, lab and theatre space! They are currently looking into a refurbishment and investing in lots of new exciting equipment so would be a very exciting time to join offering your input into the investments!

With very low staff turnover rates, we are looking for that 'team-fit' candidate who has a great sense of humour and also enjoys socialising outside of working hours!

Key Duties

The position is a full-time role offering 35.5 hours per week with 1:4 Saturdays only. There would be no OOH work or Sundays required on this position. You will enjoy a regular and set day off once per week on a full-time contract.

Package and Benefits

For the right candidate the practice is offering an excellent salary around £45,000 per annum dependent upon experience.
