Registered Veterinary Nurse Role, Full Time - Basildon

This 24 hour hospital in Basildon is looking for an RVN to join their exciting, supportive team.

A new varied position has just become available for an RVN looking for fantastic career development opportunities and a chance to work with a dynamic 60 strong team. The team itself is made up of 14 Vets, 27 Nurses, and a huge team of reception and support staff including multiple certificate holders and all with different interests from including ophthalmology, cardiology, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, exotics and ECC.

The practice is happy to support further learning and has no cap on CPD and will fund certificates, making this position ideal for any RVN wanting to progress in their career and any particular interests they may have.

Equipped with all of the facilities needed for the highest level of care including a CT suite, isolation suite, digital X-ray, laproscopes, endoscopes with plans to expand their equipment to hydrotherapy and MRI. This state-of-the-art hospital is progressive and always looking for new ways to offer the best care for patients.

Key Duties

• Full time position over a 4 day week with 1 in 4 weekends and no OOHs.
• Inpatient care

• Theatre

Package and Benefits

• Salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience
• 5.6 Weeks holiday increasing with service
• RCVS fees paid
• VDS fees paid
• No cap on CPD allowance
• Practice will support certificates
