This Independent First Opinion Veterinary Practice in Southeast London are on the lookout for a Full/Part-Time Veterinary Nurse to join their team.

An excellent and progressive Independent First Opinion Veterinary Practice are recruiting. One of the only remaining Independent Vet Practices in the area.

On the lookout for 3 Veterinary Nurses to support them in their exciting future plans with expansion.

This position will give you the chance to nurse both medical and surgical cases on a daily basis having a high case load capacity per day.

Extensive range of consultation, surgical and hospitalisation facilities including:

• Cardiology facilities
• Orthopaedic facilities
• 2 Consultation rooms
• Dental X-ray
• Ultrasound
• Endoscope

The position will see you working alongside 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 Veterinary Nurses, 3 Student Vet Nurses and a lovely and supportive Practice Manager who also regularly takes part Nursing.


Key Duties
Open to full and part time as they are a really accommodating practice.
If full time the shifts would be either 8:30 - 5:30pm or 9:30 - 6:30pm
1:4 Saturday mornings only 8:30 - 12:30pm
No out of hours.

Involved in first opinion Veterinary Nurse duties including:

• Anaesthsia
• Dentistry
• Schedule 3
• Nursing consultations
• In patient care both medical and surgical patients
• Laboratory
• Dispensary
• Surgical Nursing.

• Salaries up to £28,000 pro rata based of 40 hours per week

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Be eligible to work within the UK
• Be a Veterinary Nurse registered with the RCVS or a Student Veterinary Nurse due to qualify in the next year
