NEW TO THE MARKET: Dispensing Optician role in Stourport-on-severn for a high end, well established, state of the art independent practice. Offering relaxed testing times, great rates of pay and an enviable working environment.

The practice is well established and is still steadily growing, offering premium frames and lenses enjoy working alongside a highly professional and capable business owner.

Work with a small team and like-minded professionals and enjoy getting support from the wider group.

This role is ideally suited to a qualified dispensing optician new to practice management or a Optical Assistant that is confident in dispensing on all levels and has previous optical management experience

You will have the opportunity to capitalise on a superb and extensive client database and be given freedom to put own stamp on service delivery

Key Duties

• Dispensing all types of Single Vision, Bifocal and Varifocal spectacles.
• Use of pre-screening equipment - field screener, OCT
• Advising on contact lens wear.
• Organising team rotas
• Management of practice team
• Liaising with company directors to achieve targets and implement new strategies.
• Frame buying within agreed guidelines.
• Training Team members as appropriate
• Booking appointments & reception duties.
• Till operation, Cashing up, and banking.
• Ensuring patient satisfaction on collection of spectacles.
• Adjustment of spectacles.
• Minor repairs of spectacles.

Package and Benefits

• Successful applicant's will be rewarded with a market leading remuneration package of up to £32,000 depending on experience
• Enjoy 20 days holiday p.a. plus 8 bank holidays and Birthday l
• Dispensing Optician course available for suitable applicants
• You will be required to work 37 hours per week over 5 days Monday to Saturday

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Optical experience necessary - applicants with no optical experience will not be considered for this role
• GOC registered
• Right to work in the UK essential
• Full clean UK driving licence required
• Must have right to work in the UK
