Locum Registered Veterinary Nurse Role, Somerset

Prospect Health are looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join an excellent client of ours based in Somerset on an ongoing basis.
- Start 2-4 weeks
- 3-5 days per week
- Shifts are: 08:30-17:00 and 09:30 - 18:00.
Responsibilities -
- Admitting patients for diagnostics procedures
- Receiving handovers form clinicians for admissions
- Placing IVC's, taking blood and completing hospital paperwork
- Receiving handovers back from recovery nurses
- Monitoring patients for the few hours following their procedures, feeding etc
- Preparing patients for discharges
- Some (more routine) discharges
- Preparing day patient area for following days admissions, restocking and cleaning
- Preparing paperwork for following day admissions
- Some use of PMS, but limited to charging of bloods and basic consumables, feeds etc
Day Rate
£19 - £22 per hour
