Rare Vet Surgeon Role Offering School Hours Rota, no OOH!, Brantham

A unique opportunity for a vet looking to work school hours only, while earning a salary up to £65,000 (pro rata) and with a £7,500 welcome bonus!

Join a prestigious veterinary practice with a rich history spanning over 100 years. Located in the charming market town of Manningtree, just a short drive away from the scenic Suffolk and Essex coastlines, the practice offers a picturesque work environment. You will be working in a purpose-built facility that boasts state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, including comprehensive air conditioning, digital x-rays, video endoscopy, multiparameter monitoring, and a therapeutic class IV laser.

You will work alongside a team of three highly experienced veterinary surgeons, one of whom holds a certificate in small animal surgery. You will also be supported by a team of 8 RVNs, 1 SVN, and a dedicated practice support team which ensures a supportive and cohesive work environment. The branch also maintain close connections with colleagues at a second branch in Hadleigh, where you'll find an Advanced Practitioner in Diagnostic Imaging and a skilled orthopaedic surgeon.

Key Duties

  • Flexible working hours that can be tailored to your needs. Whether you want to accommodate school holidays, manage school runs, or simply require more flexibility.
  • The role can be further customized based on your interests, allowing you to focus more on surgery or consulting.
  • Weekend rota is Saturday mornings only (08:30 - 13:00)
  • No out-of-hours work, as these are covered by VetsNow.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
