Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon Role, Doncaster

We're working with a values-led independent first opinion practice seeking another lovely Vet to join their team in Doncaster.

Due to expansion, this leading independent is looking for another vet to join their welcoming team in Doncaster.
You will be part of a forward-thinking group that are constantly striving to deliver high clinical standards and provide excellent client care.
The purpose-built site offers exceptional facilities including well-equipped consult rooms, two ops theatres, a dedicated dental suite, separate waiting areas and wards for dogs and cats, digital radiography, ultrasound, air dental and a comprehensive in house lab.
The 4.5 vet team are highly skilled and incredibly welcoming and supportive, facilitating a wonderful working environment! You will experience plenty of clinical freedom and opportunity to work up cases in house and follow your clinical interests. The practice operates on a 1.5 nurse to vet ratio so there is always plenty of support on hand.


Key Duties

  • A full time role is a four day working week with an average of 38 hours - however part time roles can be considered as well.
  • Weekends are on a rotational basis of 1 in 3. There is no OOH or on call with this role.
  • You can expect the usual responsibilities associated with first opinion practice including routine surgery, consultations and medicine. Although there is scope to tailor the role depending on your clinical interests.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
Ideally you'll be comfortable with routine GP work however there is scope to tweak the role according to your clinical interests, and there is always support to help you develop your skills.
