Experienced Veterinary Surgeon Job - Independent Practice, Rushden

I am recruiting for a client focused, independent practice based in Rushden seeking an experienced, out-going Veterinary Surgeon to join their current 4 Vet team.

We are seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a very well-established, family run independent practice based near Rushden. You will be joining a progressive practice, growing year on year looking for a Vet due to expansion of the practice.

Ideally, we are looking for a passionate surgeon keen to develop relationships with their clients. This guarantees you with case continuity and complete clinical autonomy - treating your customers pets like they're your own!

The practice is modern, recently refurbished meaning you can work in a bright and well-planned out practice. With 3 consultation rooms currently and expansion plans to increase this to 6 rooms you can enjoy working in your own spacious personalised consult room. Consultations are currently at 15 minutes allowing lots of time with your clients. You can enjoy separate theatres, updated Ultrasound, Digital X-ray machines and much more!

You will be supported in the practice as you're going to be working alongside 4 experienced Vets. You will have support from 4 nurses. The practice is a training practice with 3 SVN's on-site too. There is a reception and management team on site.

Key Duties

• We can offer flexibility for the right candidate joining the practice
• Ideally, we would love someone to join on a 4- or 5-day working week and on the occasional weekend rota currently at 1:4 weekends. There would be no OOH or on-call work with this position
• If you're looking for a part-time role, we can also accommodate this too with 3 days per week an option. Negotiation on the working hours is certainly a possibility with consideration for 5 slightly shorter days if desired etc

Package and Benefits

For your hard work you will be rewarded with an excellent above average salary and up to 40% of salary on target bonus (not sales based but measurable) Typically we can expect to see ranges between £50,000-£60,000 per annum for a full-time Vet. You can also enjoy additional perks as part of the package including RCVS fees paid, VDS fees paid, and relocation package.

CPD is actively encouraged with certificates and higher budget courses funded for you.

In usual times you can enjoy practice day outings including Spa, Horse racing, Karting and Casino etc.
