A rare and unique opportunity to join a long-established, independent practice in the Kidderminster area. Salary up to £72,000
One of Kidderminster's best-loved, most respected independents is seeking to add a new Veterinary Surgeon to their single site practice.
You will be joining an ever expanding, RCVS accredited practice which has obtained both Gold ISFM standard and Silver Rabbit Friendly status. The practice is purpose built, with excellent facilities such as separate dog and cat wards, digital radiography, high-grade ultrasound and optic loop. The practice has its own OOH's, meaning case-continuity is fantastic. The practice has on-site parking, which the owner generously pays for himself, and is a stones throw from the train station and therefore has phenomenal commuter links.
You will be joining on a 4 day working week, allowing for an unparalleled work/life balance, which will be complemented with above average consult times that can be scheduled for up to 30 minutes. You will have a blended weekly schedule of 3 consult days and 1 full day operating, with scheduled breaks to allow rest and relaxation. 3 days are to be 9am - 7pm, with one day being an earlier finish at 5pm to maximise productivity.
In return, a successful vet will receive a brilliant salary of up to £72,000, as well as an above industry average holiday allowance of 6 weeks. CPD allowance is £1,200, however this figure is ofen exceeded should the CPD be deemed beneficial to all parties. On top of this, there is a host of other benefits that include our RCVS fees and VDS covered.
