• You will be working with cutting edge testing equipment including OCT, Optomap digital and measuring equipment

Key Duties

• Full time Monday to Saturday, working hours 9am - 5:30pm
• Extended test times up to 1 hour allowing dispenser to enjoy a busy but well paced practice setting
• Small team comprising experienced and long-standing staff working in the practice, all with circa 5 years + tenure
• Enjoy working with a paperless patient management systems, a wide range of frames including high end and remote prescription edging
• Maintain the practices excellent reputation through exceptional patient care and recommend from a choice of beautiful bespoke frames to bets suit patient needs
• Your role will be varied and you will be required to get involved in various responsibilities to manage the patients journey e.g. booking appointments to ordering lenses, putting together frames and completing fittings

Package and Benefits

• Basic salary ranging from £24,000 starting for Optical Assistants and up to £36,000 for qualified Dispensing Opticians (depending upon level of experience)
• GOC and ABDO fees paid in full if DO qualified
• 20 days holidays + 8 days bank

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Be a GOC registered Dispensing Optician or an Optical Assistant with a minimum of 3 years experience with the ability to dispense confidently to all levels
• Must hold full right to work in the UK
