Optometrist, Bournemouth, Part time, Basic up to £65,000 plus bonus, Independent

Are you a patient focussed Optometrist keen to enjoy a relaxed patient focussed practice setting in Bournemouth, then look no further!

In you new role, you will be supported by a very friendly and highly experienced fully independent team of optics professionals who operate with a dedicated qualified Dispensing Opticians at all times and state of art facilities including OCT all at your disposal!

Key Duties

• Part-time position working 3 days a week, however option for over time can be provided as well to cover things like colleague holidays
• 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays (9am - 430pm) and option available to work in 3 in 4 Saturdays if preferred
• Using paperless patient management systems and relaxed test times of 40 minutes to ensure high level of quality patient care

The company continuously invest in cutting edge technology to ensure they can provide the most up to date screening and investigative techniques Including:

• OCT
• Slit Lamp
• Humphrey VFA
• Tonometer
• Trial lenses
• Paperless patient management system

• Opportunity to recommend products from broad range of lenses and frames from leading designers such as Tom Ford and Tiffany to name but a few and also prospect to offer local shared care clinical services

Package and Benefits

• Generous base salary up to £65,000 DOE plus bonus scheme worth £1,000-£2,000 (FTE)
• Excellent holiday allowance 25 days plus 8 days bank (FTE)
• GOC and AOP fees paid with free parking also available on site or in short walking distance

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Registered with the GOC
• One / two years post qualified experience required as will be required to work as sole Optom
