Clinical Director Opportunity, Blackburn

Exciting Clinical Director opportunity at a well established 10 vet practice in Blackburn.

Are you a Clinical Director looking for the next challenge in your career, or an experienced vet looking for your first step into management? Well if that's the case (and you live near Blackburn or looking to move to the area) look no further!

Due to continued growth we are looking for a passionate and dedicated vet with a minimum of 4 years post graduate experience to join a large 10 vet practice in the heart of Blackburn.

The role will have a mixture of clinical and non-clinical aspects including organising and motivating a team of experience vets, nurses and receptionists and driving high clinical standards. You won't be alone though - you'll have the full support of other managers around you and a central support team made up of Area Lead Vets, Operations, HR, Facilities and Health & Safety.

To help you manage your time, you'll be given guaranteed and protected admin time each week to give you plenty of time to carry out your non-clinical responsibilities. Moving into management isn't the end of your clinical journey, many of the management team have been supported through certificates and other CPD training.

The shift pattern suits those with lots of out of work hobbies - you'll have a set day off each week and won't have to worry about any out of hours responsibilities as this is handled by a nearby hospital (within the same group).

The practice itself is kitted out with everything you need to provide the best outcome for your patients including dedicated monitoring equipment for surgical cases, electrosurgical unit, a dedicated orthopaedic theatre with ceiling-fixed surgical lighting, lateral suture kit and a dedicated ophthalmic kit for eye procedures. Not to mention you will also have access to CT Scanner and MRI within the larger group.

People management and leadership experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training and support is provided. In addition, you'll receive an excellent package with a competitive salary of up to £63,000 for the right candidate, private healthcare after qualifying period, generous holiday allowance, company discounts, and much more!

If you're interested in this position, simply apply below or contact us for a confidential chat to find out more - our team is available to speak to until 8pm during the week.
