Regsistered Veterinary Nurse Job, Fleet

Exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to work within on of the only remaining Independent Small Animal First Opinion Veterinary Practices in the area. Looking for someone either Full or Part time, no out of hours supporting a fantastic work life balance.

The only remaining Independent Small Animal Veterinary Practice in the area have a rare vacancy available for a Veterinary Nurse to join their team. Fantastic location centred on a quaint market street with outstanding rail and road links into London, Southampton and Portsmouth.

Established for over 20 years, now consisting of 4 branches in total, they are growing and have been thriving ever since.

This position would see you utilising your full Veterinary Nursing skills across the whole practice, Veterinary Nurses being extremely clinically hands on. The team currently consists of 4 Veterinary Surgeons and 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 of which have completed their Advanced Diploma qualification and obtained Feline Nursing certificates.

A cardiologist and Orthopaedic surgeon are on site, this would enable you to see diverse and unique cases on a daily basis.

Excellent consultation, hospitalisation and surgical facilities include:

  • Ultrasound
  • Digital X-ray
  • Dental suite and dental X-ray
  • Multiple endoscopes
  • In house full laboratory
  • 1 theatre
  • 2 consult rooms.

The role it self is for a full time Veterinary Nurse with the option for part time too.
40 hours per week over 4/5 days and hours are between 8-7pm.
No out of hours or bank holidays.
1:5 weekends, Saturday and Sundays 8-4:30pm with time off in lieu.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • Be eligible to work within the UK
  • Be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
  • Newly qualified and experienced Veterinary Nurses urged to apply
  • Must be willing to become a clinical coach
  • Be able to work as part of a team and as an individual.
