A new Veterinary Surgeon role has become available at a progressive, forward-thinking & locally-loved first opinion hospital in Buckhurst Hill, Essex

Our client is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who is dedicated to giving the highest standard of clinical care. You can expect to work in a warm, supportive environment in a modern and friendly first opinion hospital.

You will have a well-managed diary with scheduled admin time to ensure you're never staying behind. The hospital comes fully equipped with modern technology, innovative techniques and advanced practices.

A 4-day working week allows for ultimate work/life balance, added too by having sporadic weekend work. There is occasional branch work, however both branches are within a short commute of the main site.

In return, you will be given a fantastic remuneration package where you will receive a salary of up to £60,000 per annum. On top of this, there is an incredibly generous CPD allowance of £1,750 and up to 5 days. To complement this, you are also allocated 32 days holiday, a private pension plan and an enhanced sick pay policy. Your RCVS membership is covered, as well as your VDS fees and 1 other membership subscription of your choice.

Key Duties

• 4-day week
• 41.5 hours per week (8:30am - 7:30pm)
• 1:6 full weekends on call for inpatients
• 1:6 Saturday mornings
• Occasional branch work
