New Graduate Vet Surgeon Position, Stockport

This independent practice in Stockport is keen to to bring a new graduate into their friendly team. With no OOHs only 1 in 4 saturday mornings and a fantastic new graduate salary of up to £38,000.

Our client, a well-established, independent, small animal practice based in Stockport, is looking a for a New Graduate Vet to join their experienced team. Based on 30 minutes from busy Manchester city centre and a short drive from the beautiful Peak District, this practice can offer the best of both worlds in terms of its location.

The practice itself has been open since the 1960s and in that time has built up a fantastic reputation in the area as well as a long and loyal client list. The practice is made up of an experienced team of 3 full time Vets, 5 RVNs ad a team of receptionists. The team has a culture of growth and support and believe in nuturing their team members to reach full potential.

The recently refurbished premises have all of the facilities and equipment expected in a small animal, general practice, such as - digital x-ray machine a brand new ultrasound, lab area, prep room, consulting rooms and theatre. The practice is happy to invest in new modern equipment as required.

This position would be a full-time position, totaling over 37 hours per week, with no out-of-hours commitments an only 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.

Key Duties

  • The practice is seeking an enthusaistic Vet Surgeon to uphold their commitment to delivering high-quality care to our cherished clients.
  • Your responsibilities will include a mix of surgeries and consultations, all performed to the highest standards with ample support provided.
  • With 20-minute consultation times, you'll have the chance to build meaningful relationships with each client and patient, providing personalized care.
