You will see six to seven patients a day on average at their homes, or up to sixteen patients in a care facility, all while having complete freedom to run and operate your own clinic without interference from the business world.

Key Duties

  • Provide both sight exams and dispensing as needed, with ample one-hour appointment spaces, and customize your service to each patient's unique requirements.
  • Make use of cutting-edge mobile testing devices and a user-friendly digital records system designed by optometrists for optometrists.
  • You have the option of working three to five days days a week, full- or part-time, and having no weekend obligations.
  • The clinic is open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., but you should plan to travel within a 50-mile radius, leaving your house no earlier than 7:45 a.m. and returning no later than 6:30 p.m.
  • Make use of cutting-edge portable testing tools, such as fundus cameras and an optometrist-designed computerized record-keeping system.
  • Must have a strong desire to give patients excellent care in their homes, communicate clearly, and find genuine fulfilment in your profession!

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • GOC Registered as an Optometrist
  • Tier 2 visas may be available if you do not currently have right to work in the UK
  • Full driving license (2 years ideal)
