Night Vet Position, Terrey Hills, NSW

Prospect Health are proud to be working with one of the leading small animal emergency care providers in Northern Sydney, Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone that loves ECC work, as you will be on the front line dealing with an extremely varied and interesting caseload. You'll have access to state-of-the-art facilities, including CT and MRI scanner and will work alongside an experienced team of 15 vets (4 onsite on a typical weeknight, 6+ on a weekend).

Ideally you will have a good level of experience in a similar role, however recent graduates can be considered as there is a fantastic level of support from the rest of the experienced team. For this reason, this is a great opportunity for someone that wants to progress in emergency work.

The building itself is a large, purpose-built hospital, with 5 consult rooms and multiple large operating facilities. However, in the next 12 months they are moving to an even larger, even more impressive site, making this a very exciting time to join as the business grows!

This role is purely night work with various shift patterns between 6pm - 6am. The shift pattern can be flexible to suit you and your needs and will average a 38hr week. Both full and part time can be considered, so if it's 1, 2 or 3 nights a week can be accommodated for. You will be offered an industry leading package with an excellent salary and relocation support and visa sponsorship is fully funded.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • Ideally you will have 1 year post university veterinary experience, though less will be considered
  • Emergency and critical care/night experience is preferred but not a requirement
  • You must have qualified at a university recognised by the
  • Australasian Veterinary Boards Council AVBC
  • Must be able to meet other Australian entry requirements (contact us to discuss in more detail)
  • Friendly, hard working and compassionate attitude and ability to form good relationships with colleagues and clients alike
