Retail Manager / DO Manager

Retail Manager / Dispensing Optician Manager Role, Crewe. Full time Branch based opportunity offering £30,000 - £35,000 DOE + Bonus.

Working with a company that have developed an excellent reputation and have become opticians of choice in Crewe and the surrounding area.

You will be joining a successful award winning independent practice that always works with patient care at the forefront of everything they do. They're looking for someone who upholds these same values and has previous optical / retail management experience

The practice is located in a superb high street position within the tranquil town of Crewe, offering a relaxed and friendly working environment. It is also situated just a short walk from the station, although nearby parking is also available.

You will have the opportunity to be based within one practice and managing a team of up to 20+ staff.

Key Duties

  • You will become part of a friendly team of optical and audiology professionals working together to provide exceptional patient care
  • Usual working hours are 8:30am - 6:00pm, full time only
  • Be based within a high end independent practice fitted with the most up to date optical and audiology equipment
  • Managing employees to ensure that all departments are operating smoothly
  • Maintain the practices excellent reputation within the local area
  • Be confident to manage up to 25 employees with the support of 2 assistants and 2 supervisors
  • Able to adapt and work well in a fast pace environment were you will need to have great administrative and multi tasking skills

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Retail Management / DO Management experience - preferably in the optical/healthcare sector
  • Able to work in fast pace environment with the help of an experience support team
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Full time only position
