Veterinary Nurse

Join a dynamic and dedicated veterinary team as a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)!

This role involves joining a team of expert nurses at a busy small animal hospital. The RVN will engage in a variety of tasks including in-patient care, nurse clinics, lab work, and assisting in surgeries. With a flexible 38-hour work week and a supportive environment, this position is perfect for those passionate about animal care and seeking work-life balance. Additional responsibilities include participating in training programs, offering mentorship, and maintaining practice standards.

Key Duties

  • Responsibilities include in-patient care, conducting nurse clinics, laboratory work, dispensary tasks, and assisting veterinarians in examinations and surgeries. This includes monitoring anaesthetics, radiography, and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of practice equipment.

Package and Benefits

  • The position entails a 38-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with varying shifts between 8 am and 7 pm to accommodate different lifestyle needs. Flexibility is offered with the option to work either a 4-day week with longer hours or a standard 5-day week. Additionally, the role includes working 1 in 7 Saturday mornings, with time off on the following Friday.

Salary: £24,000 to £29,000 DOE
