Sales Administrator, Home-Based Role £15-25K + bonus + benefits

We’re looking for someone diligent and well-organised, to join a growing team in our successful recruitment business, at a really exciting stage of its evolution. This could be a full-time or part-time role (minimum 30 hours) and also either office- or home based.

Prospect Health is a successful recruitment agency. Based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, we employ 45 people (both office and home-based) and operate nationally and internationally, recruiting for management-level and professionally-qualified roles within the healthcare field.

This role involves making lots of phone calls to prospective customers (mainly small and medium-sized care companies), in order to establish whether or not they’re currently hiring for the kind of role we specialise in filling - and also to gather contact information, build and manage our database and send out marketing information to anyone who might be interested in using our services.

Responsibilities

• Making phone calls to prospective customers.
• Gathering contact information.
• Building and managing the CRM database.
• Sending marketing emails.
• Having preliminary discussions with prospective customers and arranging for them to speak with one of our Consultants.

Desired Experience & Skills

• You’ll need a good telephone manner and some experience of doing phone-based work (you’ve got to be prepared to make quite a lot of phone calls, as you’ll probably be spending 2 or 3 hours a day on the phone).
• To be successful, you’ll need to be energetic, enthusiastic, positive and pretty tenacious.
• It’s essential that you’re well-organised and able to manage data within a relatively complex CRM system (you don’t need to be an ‘IT Expert’ but you will need to know your way around a spreadsheet and be comfortable working in an IT-enabled environment).
