Key Duties
Strategic Direction & Compliance
- Define priorities for warehouse, kitting, and distribution functions to meet service-level commitments and customer requirements.
- Align site logistics planning with overall regional supply chain objectives.
- Partner in the continuous improvement of the distribution network, including policies, processes, and service models, in close collaboration with other business units.
- Oversee and contribute to 3PL operations to ensure high-quality service at optimal cost while maintaining compliance with quality, sustainability, and regulatory standards.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable health, safety, trade, compliance, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO standards, Sarbanes-Oxley, FCPA, VAT, Medical Device Directives, and local legislation).
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Building Organizational Capability
- Develop and enforce systems and procedures for efficient and compliant operation of facilities, equipment, and personnel.
- Collaborate across divisions and regions to maximize service performance.
- Provide operational input to M&A activities or integration projects when required.
- Talent Development
- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing logistics team with clear growth pathways.
- Drive employee engagement through coaching, performance reviews, and leadership development.
- Promote a positive culture focused on safety, service, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Operational Delivery
- Ensure effective handling, storage, transportation, and inventory management to deliver right product, right place, right time, right quality, right quantity.
- Track and manage performance through KPIs and cost metrics to drive operational efficiency.
- Monitor operations to proactively identify risks or bottlenecks and implement solutions.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of logistics performance to stakeholders.
- Inspiring & Influencing
- Serve as a key advocate for logistics solutions and communicate the value proposition internally and externally.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional partners to foster collaboration and trust.

Key Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's / graduate degree in Business Administration, Materials Management, Life Sciences, Engineering or equivalent is required.
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain management, Logistics, Operations or related fields are required.
