Pharmacist position in Bristol/Weston-Supermare

We are currently recruiting for a motivated and patient-focused Pharmacist to join a growing independent pharmacy group with two well-established community pharmacies located in Bristol and Weston-super-Mare.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacist who wants to be involved in the future of community pharmacy. The successful candidate will be encouraged to focus on developing and delivering clinical services rather than spending the majority of their time solely checking prescriptions.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 09:00 18:00
• Pharmacy open Saturdays: 09:00 13:00 (occasional participation may be required)

• Two successful independent community pharmacies
• Combined dispensing volume of approximately 17,000 18,000 items per month

The Role

We are looking for a Pharmacist who enjoys patient interaction and is passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Key areas of focus include:

• Pharmacy First consultations
• NHS and Private Vaccination Services
• Travel Health and Travel Vaccinations
• Weight Loss Services
• Seasonal Flu Vaccinations
• Blood Pressure Monitoring
• New Medicine Service (NMS)
• Patient counselling and clinical support
• Supporting the growth of both NHS and private healthcare services

This role is ideal for someone who wants to move beyond traditional dispensing and play an active role in developing a modern, service-led pharmacy offering.

Candidate Requirements

• GPhC Registered Pharmacist
• Strong communication and consultation skills
• Passion for delivering clinical services and patient care
• Ability to build relationships with patients and the local community
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable but not essential
• Newly Qualified Pharmacists are welcome to apply
• Right to work in the UK or requiring sponsorship
