I am recruiting for an experienced Surgeon to join a progressive, purpose-built Veterinary Hospital in Cambridge with occasional support needed for local branch practice cover.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join a multi-vet, progressive Hospital practice in Cambridge. Ideally, we are keen to hear from those happy to consider covering a branch practice once per week as part of the role too.

We are searching for a Vet with good all round GP skills. Own personal Interests are actively encouraged too. If you hold a certificate or would like to work towards one we are keen to hear from you! You will be working within a multi-vet environment with support from 5+ vets, certificate holders and visiting specialists. You will have support from an excellent nursing and management team.

The practice is well equipped, modern and spacious. It has multiple consultation rooms, a surgical suite, Ultrasound, In house lab, Digital X-ray and much more!

Key Duties

This is a full-time position working on a flexible Rota to suit your requirements. Ideally, we would like to speak to someone happy to work 4 days per week and happy to cover 1:4 weekends. There would be no OOH required as they currently have a dedicated night team in place.

CPD is actively encouraged and funded to certificate level. You will have access to above industry average holiday at 25 days per year plus 8 days bank holiday and your birthday day off totally to 34 days per year.
