An exciting opportunity has arisen for a personable and enthusiastic Optometrist to join a well-established independent group with over 30 years of clinical excellence. Based in the historic market town of Saffron Walden, this branch is part of a reputable network of practices closely linked with Cambridge University and Addenbrooke's Hospital.

This independent setting allows for true clinical autonomy and the opportunity to spend quality time with each patient. With hour-long eye examinations and access to industry-leading technology, the team delivers outstanding care across a wide range of specialist services, including:

  • Colorimetry
  • Sports Vision
  • Ortho-K
  • IPL
  • Dry Eye Treatment

The patient base is loyal and affluent, and the team is proud of the long-standing relationships built through consistent, high-quality care.
Many staff have been with the practice for decades, and the ideal candidate will share the same commitment to long-term continuity and excellence.

Key Duties

  • Full or Part time opportunity
  • Conduct thorough eye examinations, with 1-hour appointment slots
  • Manage and co-manage a variety of specialist cases
  • Provide tailored clinical care and advice
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Work collaboratively with a skilled and supportive team
  • Participate in the ongoing development of specialist services

Package and Benefits

  • Salary circa £60,000 (flexible depending on experience and package preferences)
